Service Description
Created by a former professional dancer with 20+ years of stage, camera, and creative directing experience, combined with 10+ years in the fashion industry as a fashion designer and wardrobe stylist. This one-of-a-kind bootcamp was built specifically for dancers, pole artists, burlesque performers, skaters, aerialists, cheerleaders, and performers who want to create custom dancewear that looks incredible, fits beautifully, and moves with confidence. 📅 Dates: September 5, 12 & 19 (Saturdays) 🕟 Time: 4:30–7:00 PM -Week 1: Sewing Machine 101 + sewing fundamentals -Weeks 2 & 3: Create your own custom dancewear project with personalized guidance. You'll learn how to: -Use a sewing machine with confidence -Work with stretch fabrics & elastics -Read and cut sewing patterns -Sew custom dancewear from scratch -Create clean, professional finishes Perfect for: Dancers, pole dancers, burlesque performers, skaters, aerialists, cheerleaders, and performers. ‼️0 experience required. If you already have experience on machine, YOU CAN START MAKING YOURS FIRST DAY!! Just put in notes and reach out to us before class starts ✨ Beginner-friendly — No sewing experience required. 🏆 Certificate of Completion included. Please note: Inspiration photos are provided as style references to help you choose your project (available sewing patterns) and were not designed by THE WAN Sewing Studios. Students are welcome to create a similar style during class but are responsible for purchasing their own sewing patterns Materials are not included and must be prepared by each student before class. Cancellation Policy
THE WAN Sewing Studios – Class Policies Please read carefully before booking. By enrolling in any class, workshop, bootcamp, private lesson, or special event with THE WAN Sewing Studios, you agree to the following policies: BOOKING & PAYMENT • Full payment is required to reserve your spot. • Due to limited class sizes, all bookings are final. • Your reservation secures one of a limited number of seats and prevents that spot from being offered to another student. REFUND POLICY • All classes, workshops, bootcamps, private lessons, events, and certificate programs are non-refundable. • Refunds will not be issued for missed classes, scheduling conflicts, travel plans, illness, work obligations, late arrivals, or no-shows. TRANSFER & RESCHEDULING POLICY • All bookings are non-transferable. • Bookings may not be transferred to another date, class, service, or person unless approved in writing by THE WAN Sewing Studios. • Missed classes do not qualify for makeup sessions, credits, or future class transfers. ATTENDANCE & LATE ARRIVAL POLICY • Students are encouraged to arrive 5–10 minutes early. • A 10-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals. • Students arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time may not be permitted to join the class. • Late arrivals beyond 15 minutes may result in forfeiture of the session without refund, credit, transfer, or makeup class. NO-SHOW POLICY • Students who fail to attend a scheduled class without prior communication will be considered a no-show. • No-shows automatically forfeit their reservation and are not eligible for refunds, credits, transfers, or makeup sessions. CLASS CANCELLATION BY THE WAN SEWING STUDIOS • In the rare event that THE WAN Sewing Studios must cancel a class due to instructor illness, emergency, low enrollment, or circumstances beyond our control, students will be offered a makeup session, studio credit, or alternative solution at our discretion. STUDIO RESPECT & COMMUNITY • We are committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and creative learning environment for all students. • Disruptive, disrespectful, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from class without refund. By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all policies listed above.
