WHAT SKILL LEVEL DO I NEED TO TAKE A CLASS?

  • No experience is required! Our classes welcome absolute beginners as well as intermediate sewists looking to build their skills.

  • Specific skill level is always shown on flyers.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE “SEW YOU CAN SEW” 3-WEEK BOOTCAMP?

  • You’ll learn sewing machine basics, fabric handling, simple tailoring, and complete beginner-friendly and upcycled projects over three weeks.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PRIVATE, SEMI-PRIVATE, AND GROUP CLASSES?

  • Private: One-on-one, fully customized instruction.

    • Starting at $145 per session (2 hours)

  • Semi-Private: Small group of 2 students with flexible scheduling.

    • Flat rate: $220 per session ($110 per person)

WHERE IS THE STUDIO LOCATED?

  • We are located in DTLA, Broadway Arts Tower

ARE CLASSES REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE?

  • All class payments are final and non-refundable. Once booked, your spot is secured and no refunds or credits will be issued under any circumstances.

WHAT’S THE AGE MINIMUM?

  • Our classes are open to students ages 12 and up.

  • Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before attending.

  • Children under 12 must take a private lesson before participating in any group classes.

CAN I BOOK A CLASS AS A GIFT FOR SOMEONE?

  • Absolutely! Gift cards and class passes are available.

CAN I BRING MY OWN SEWING MACHINE?

  • Sewing machine rentals are available for $15 per machine per session.

  • We accept Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, Cash App, or cash.

CAN I PAY THROUGH A THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT APP INSTEAD OF THE BOOKING SITE?

  • Yes! We accept direct payments through the following platforms:

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE USUALLY IN A CLASS?

  • Most group classes have 3–5 students to keep the experience personal and hands-on.

  • We intentionally keep class sizes small to ensure everyone receives individual support and the best results.
