Service Description
Create your own Japanese knot bag—a bag with two handles of different lengths, allowing one to slip through the other for a loop closure! Learn how to cut your fabric, assemble the bag, and add a lining. Make it your own through your fabric choices and optional fringe details. What to bring: -At least 1 yard of woven fashion fabric for the outside. -At least 1 yard of woven lining fabric. Optional: Fringe or other trims you’d like to incorporate. Prerequisite: Basic sewing knowledge is required. Please complete our Intro to Home Sewing Machine class or any of our Beginner Sewing Bootcamps before attending. Materials are not included. Choose fabrics that reflect your style and create a bag you’ll love to carry!

Cancellation Policy
THE WAN Sewing Studios – Class Policies Please read carefully before booking. By enrolling in any class, workshop, bootcamp, private lesson, or special event with THE WAN Sewing Studios, you agree to the following policies: BOOKING & PAYMENT • Full payment is required to reserve your spot. • Due to limited class sizes, all bookings are final. • Your reservation secures one of a limited number of seats and prevents that spot from being offered to another student. REFUND POLICY • All classes, workshops, bootcamps, private lessons, events, and certificate programs are non-refundable. • Refunds will not be issued for missed classes, scheduling conflicts, travel plans, illness, work obligations, late arrivals, or no-shows. TRANSFER & RESCHEDULING POLICY • All bookings are non-transferable. • Bookings may not be transferred to another date, class, service, or person unless approved in writing by THE WAN Sewing Studios. • Missed classes do not qualify for makeup sessions, credits, or future class transfers. ATTENDANCE & LATE ARRIVAL POLICY • Students are encouraged to arrive 5–10 minutes early. • A 10-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals. • Students arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time may not be permitted to join the class. • Late arrivals beyond 15 minutes may result in forfeiture of the session without refund, credit, transfer, or makeup class. NO-SHOW POLICY • Students who fail to attend a scheduled class without prior communication will be considered a no-show. • No-shows automatically forfeit their reservation and are not eligible for refunds, credits, transfers, or makeup sessions. CLASS CANCELLATION BY THE WAN SEWING STUDIOS • In the rare event that THE WAN Sewing Studios must cancel a class due to instructor illness, emergency, low enrollment, or circumstances beyond our control, students will be offered a makeup session, studio credit, or alternative solution at our discretion. STUDIO RESPECT & COMMUNITY • We are committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and creative learning environment for all students. • Disruptive, disrespectful, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from class without refund. By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all policies listed above.
